Google Android-based tablets starting coming onto the market in September 2009. Demand for tablets has risen thanks to the iPad, and now a lot of customers are very interested in tablets. Acer offered a peak of its own Android tablet at a news conference in Beijing. It has a 7-inch display and a keypad, but Acer didn’t say when it will be released or how much it will cost.

Browan Communications, Firestone Technology, Digitran and FuJian Sanxi Electronics had Android-based tablets at their Computex booths. Here are just a few Android based tablets: Foxconn’s N928-1 with a 10-inch touchscreen, the Lifepad by Prowave with a 7-inch touchscreen, Malata brand tablet with a 10-inch touchscreen, Wind Pad 110, and Asustek may have an Android offering.

NEC LifeTouch Android tablet in the works. The industry is critcal of it appearance however supportive of the functionality and the use of the Android OS.
